What is a notice?

A notice is a short, formal piece of writing meant to inform a specific group of people about something important — an event, meeting, competition, trip, change, or announcement. It is displayed on a notice board and must be brief, clear, and complete. A well-written notice must always answer the 5 W’s: What, Where, When, Who, and Whom to contact.

Word limit

50 words for the body only.

The school name, NOTICE, date, heading, and name/designation are not counted in the word limit.

Key rule
