What is a notice?
A notice is a short, formal piece of writing meant to inform a specific group of people about something important — an event, meeting, competition, trip, change, or announcement. It is displayed on a notice board and must be brief, clear, and complete. A well-written notice must always answer the 5 W’s: What, Where, When, Who, and Whom to contact.

50 words for the body only.
The school name, NOTICE, date, heading, and name/designation are not counted in the word limit.
Key rule
Always written in third person and formal voice. Never use ‘I’ or ‘We’. Use ‘Students are requested…’ or ‘All members are hereby informed…’
Notice Format

1.Name of the institution
Full name of the school. Written at the very top of the notice box.

Written in CAPITAL LETTERS immediately below the school name. Do not write ‘A Notice’ or ‘Notice’: — just the single word NOTICE.
